Cary, North Carolina, December 13, 2005, ProviderLink, Inc., a healthcare I.T. communications company, announced today it has been endorsed by the Louisiana Nursing Home Association, (LNHA), as the preferred provider of internet-based Medicaid documentation services. The successful implementation of ProviderLink at Central Management Services, owner of 17 nursing home facilities throughout Louisiana, Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center, and the State Medicaid program has put a strong footprint in the state. The LNHA endorsement will help to increase the use of ProviderLink throughout the state's 300 licensed nursing facilities.
Joe Donchess, executive director of the Louisiana Nursing Home Association, stated, "A nursing facility's foremost responsibility is to provide dependable, quality care to its residents. When technology can help them reach this goal, it is a benefit to all stakeholders." Donchess further explained, "LNHA endorses ProviderLink because we recognize the immediate benefit its internet-based communication platform brings to nursing home operations. Paper-based transposition errors are eliminated, staff can easily interchange, and revenue cycles can be better managed with online prior-approvals and claims attachments."
ProviderLink enables secure, internet-based documentation transference through a single interface. Both paper-based and electronic documents can be stored, managed and retrieved for communication with internal and external business partners. The solution provides an immediate audit trail of all patient communications.
